Fuso Cainta outlet now caters to the east

MANILA: Recently, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) established a new dealership in Cainta, Rizal, in collaboration with Peak Motors Philippines Inc. (PMPI). The province of Rizal's newest outlet will be PMPI-Fuso Cainta.

SFP is the general distributor of Fuso and one of the country's leading distributors of new trucks, buses, and contemporary PUVs.

PMPI – Fuso Cainta is located at 002 Ortigas Ave. Ext. corner St. Joseph Drive, Brgy. San Roque, Cainta, Rizal. Being strategically located near busy streets that lead to the national highway, this makes it easy and convenient for customers to locate the outlet and view the vehicles.

The dealership is open from Mondays to Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and also provides sales and aftersales services, with Fuso certified professionals stationed to attend to various customers’ needs. Cainta is the secondary gateway to the rest of Rizal province from Metro Manila. Additionally, the number of businesses in Cainta are growing, with many more local commercial establishments in development, turning land into an industrialized city. With the new Fuso outlet in Cainta, this will enhance SFP’s ability to provide high-quality sales and service to customers in the region and nearby districts. This new outlet will also widen and strengthen the Fuso network in the country, to be nearer and closer to customers.

Last June, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation inaugurated a new dealership in South Cotabato. The dealership is supervised by Mindanao Integrated Commercial Enterprises, Inc. (MICEI).

MICEI has been Fuso’s dealer partner for over 30 years and has significantly contributed to the brand’s presence in Mindanao.

MICEI-Fuso South Cotabato is strategically located along Pan-Philippine Highway, Brgy. Silway 7, Polomolok, South Cotabato. The dealership has two vehicles on display and a service workshop, and offers spare parts to better serve its valued customers.

Also in June, a total of 12 brand-new Fuso Canter Express Class 3 modern PUVs were formally turned over to the Cebu Provincial Operators Transport Cooperative (CPOTC) for their deployment in the Carcar-Tabunok loop.

During the turnover proceedings held at Poblacion III, Awayan, Carcar City, Cebu, the partnership between Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corp. (SFP) and CPOTC was facilitated by Fuso Mactan.

CPOTC is the first transport cooperative to purchase Fuso units to comply with the PUV modernization program of the local government in Carcar City. Attending the turnover ceremonies were SFP, CPOTC, LTFRB, and Fast Autoworld Philippines Corporation (FAPC).

FAPC Assistant Vice President Dax Albarece mentioned in his message: “We congratulate CPOTC in this milestone of providing the first modernized PUV fleet in Southern Cebu. CPOTC pioneers the routes with FUSO as its partner brand. We are honored to be part of CPOTC’s journey to be the premier transport provider in Carcar, City.”

Fuso Canter Express has been assembled from the Canter FE73 platform. These are air-conditioned Class 3 vehicles with a front-facing seat configuration that can accommodate up to 24 passengers. The modern PUVs are also equipped with accessories as required by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), such as CCTVs and recorder, WiFi, GPS tracking system, LED route signage, and LCD monitor. Transport Cooperatives can also choose their automated fare collection system based on their preference.

In line with the PUV modernization program, the government envisioned replacing some traditional jeepneys nationwide with new, safe, convenient, and comfortable public transportation. Both Fuso Canter Commute and Canter Express are designed to deliver powerful driving performance, longevity, and reliability.

Meanwhile, Sojitz Fuso Philippines underscored the reliability, safety, convenience, and efficiency of its products at the 2022 Transport & Logistics Philippines held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last October.

SFP presented its product portfolio and its new cutting-edge fleet management system, the Fuso Fleet Intelligence, in partnership with V3 Smart Technologies Inc.

Fuso Fleet Intelligence’s capabilities seek to provide an unparalleled fleet management system to both existing and potential Fuso customers through smartphone connectivity. It has a wide range of features, including Analytics, Tamper Detection, Geofencing, Route History, Fuel Sensors, and Vehicle Monitoring.

The system was developed in Singapore by V3 Smart Technologies with two decades of experience in fleet management solutions. Fuso customers will surely be able to maximize their business revenue with the help of Fuso Fleet Intelligence as it reduces their overhead costs while monitoring operations from their vantage point.

SFP also gave a preview of the new Canter FE71, a four-wheeler that will be officially launched in the Philippines in 2023.

Canter offers the most profitable Euro V-compliant engine while meeting emission standards for a healthier environment. It is powered by a 3.0-liter engine that produces 300 Nm of torque. Canter may carry loads weighing between 2,640kg and 6,125kg depending on the model selected. Meanwhile, the Fuso Canter Built Ready range will have entrepreneurs covered in due time if their business is ready to expand and need a high-quality truck and body as soon as possible, whether it be a Rivetless Aluminum, Passenger Van, Dropside Body, or Refrigerated Van.

SFP also showcased the new F-Wing, an FJ 2528R wing van body.

The FJ completes Fuso's lineup of heavy-duty trucks. The FJ has a 6S20 diesel engine that generates 1,120Nm of torque and consumes less fuel when paired to a nine-speed manual transmission. This transmission is developed for smoother operation, quicker acceleration, and better fuel efficiency. Wingvan, Flatbed, and Dump bodies are just a few of the many body applications that FJ variants can accommodate. The FJ series is designed with long-lasting technology and the highest level of dependability for businesses that need a secure, long-term investment.
