Fuso Cruise Minibus is first vehicle to receive PNS nod

MANILA: Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) revealed that the Cruise Minibus is the first vehicle to comply with the Philippine National Standards (PNS 2160:2021) Public Utility Vehicles – Dimensions of Minibus.

According to the local arm of the Japanese truck brand, the said milestone exemplifies SFP’s commitment to providing safe, convenient, reliable, and compliant commercial vehicles to its valued customers around the Philippines.

By adhering to standards, SFP’s Minibus sets a new benchmark for quality and safety in local transportation mobility solutions.

Quick specs

The Fuso Cruise Minibus was co-designed by SFP and Almazora Motors Corporation.

It is powered by a 3.0-liter 4P10 engine that can produce as much as 147 horsepower and 370 Newton-meters of torque. The powerplant is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Per SFP, the Fuso Cruise Minibus can haul up to 36 people and has a two-by-two seating arrangement.

According to SFP, the said compliance “ensures that customers can trust the Cruise Minibus that provides quality performance while prioritizing safety within the Philippine roads.”
