Fuso modern PUVs now operate along Cubao-Divisoria route

MANILA: Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) turned over four units of Fuso Canter Commute Modern PUV Class 2 to jeepney modernization platform On-Us Solutions, Inc., also known as Byahe.

The Canter Commute units were immediately deployed along Cubao, Quezon City, and Divisoria, Manila loops. This is the first time that Fuso has routed in these areas.

The Canter Commute Modern PUV Class 2 is powered by a fuel-efficient Euro-IV compliant 3.0-liter engine. It is an airconditioned unit that can accommodate 30 people, including the driver. It features side-facing seats, similar to traditional jeepney seats.

To ensure safety and convenience on every trip, the Canter Commute is equipped with CCTVs, a recorder, Wi-Fi, a GPS tracking system, LED Route Signage, and an LCD monitor. Transport cooperatives can also select their preferred automated fare collection system.

We are also very thankful to Fuso for supporting the PUV Modernization Program,” Byahe Co-Founder Brian Cu stated.

The turnover of Fuso Modern PUVS Class 2 to Byahe is by the PUV Modernization Program (PUVMP), which is part of the government's objective to make public transportation safer and more convenient for Filipinos.

SFP is supporting the development of PUVMP while also providing efficient and well-equipped vehicles to meet the needs of its customers. The Fuso Modern PUVs are built to be dependable, powerful, and durable.
