Fuso PH displays Canter Modern PUV at LTO Motor Show 2024

MANILA: Fuso Philippines displayed the Canter Modern Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Class 2 at the ongoing Land Transportation Office (LTO) Motor Show 2024.

According to the local arm of the Japanese truck brand, the Fuso Canter Modern PUV Class 2 unit highlight the company’s commitment to providing reliable, durable, and efficient transportation solutions to Filipino commuters.

In association with its dedicated dealer, iCATS Motors, Inc. – Fuso Mindanao Avenue, the country’s primary commercial vehicle distributors of brand-new trucks, buses, and modern PUVs ensured a standout presence at the LTO Motor Show 2024.

“The LTO Motor Show 2024 serves as a platform for key industry leaders, stakeholders, transport cooperatives, and the general public to come together and explore the advancements in the automotive and transportation sectors. Fuso Canter Modern PUV Class 2 specs

Fuso Canter Commute-based Modern PUV Class 2 can seat up to 30 passengers including the driver.

It is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that can put out as much as 129 horsepower with 300 Newton-meters of torque. It has a five-speed Synchromesh-type manual transmission.

The modern PUV is supported by laminated leaf spring suspensions and hydraulic double-acting telescopic shock absorbers — front and back.

Stopping power comes from dual circuit disc brakes and exhaust brakes with an internal expanding-type on propeller shaft parking brake.
