Fuso PH donates Canter Modern PUV to Red Cross

MANILA: Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) has donated a Canter Commute Modern PUV (public utility vehicle) to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC). 

According to the local wing of the Japanese truck maker, the donation was made as part of its subsidiaries’ — Avescor Motors, Incorporated (AMI) and MNV Auto Group, Incorporated — 50th anniversary. 

The recipient was PRC’s Iloilo chapter. 

“We are honored to support PRC Iloilo Chapter in their mission to provide relief, health, and welfare assistance to vulnerable Ilonggos. This donation aligns with our goal of contributing to the development and betterment of living in the Philippines — to the communities we serve, ensuring they are better equipped during emergency situations,” SFP President and Chief Executive Officer Yosuke Nishi said. 

The PRC Iloilo Chapter expressed its sincere gratitude to AMI and MNV – Fuso Iloilo. The non-profit humanitarian organization’s local arm recognized the importance of having a dependable vehicle to respond to disaster situations and relief operations.
