Fuso PH Turns Over 10 Canter Commute Modern PUVs in Pangasinan

MANILA: Extreme Dagupan Pangasinan Transport Corporation (EDPTC) received 10 Fuso Canter Commute Class 2 units from Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) at a turnover ceremony held at the Kabaleyan Cove Resort in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

The Fuso Canter Commute modern PUVs will be used along Dagupan City and San Carlos City loops.

SFP and Almazora Motors Corporation collaborated to design the Fuso Canter Commute. It is an air-conditioned Class 2 public utility vehicle that has room for 20 people in side-facing seats and additional 10 standing passengers.

The Fuso Canter Commute Class 2 has been designed in accordance with the requirements set by the Philippine National Standards. The Fuso Canter Commute Class 2 is driven by a clean, fuel-efficient, Euro 5-compliant 3.0-liter engine that guarantees exceptional fuel economy.

For the safety and convenience of passengers, Fuso Modern PUVs come with the accessories required by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), including CCTVs and recorders, Wi-Fi, GPS tracking systems, LED (Route) Signage, and LCD monitors.

With its extensive dealer network throughout the Philippines, SFP is able to assist local transport cooperatives with their needs for modern PUVs. SFP urges cooperatives to switch to modern PUVs in line with the government's goal of making public transportation innovative and environmentally sustainable.
