Hino PH, J&T Express team up for logistics company's fleet

MANILA: As J&T Express extends its fleet operations this year, the Hino Motors Philippines Corporation (HMP) joins forces with the industry titan in logistics.

The two businesses formally signed a strategic collaboration agreement encompassing more than one hundred Hino trucks in order to keep up with the nation's thriving e-commerce market and the rising need for last-mile delivery services. They include the Hino 500 Series 1625 Long (FG8JP7A) and 2629 6x2 models, as well as the Hino 300 Series 916 (XZU730L) and 616 vehicles (FL8J). Since the relationship began in 2020, this deal has increased J&T Express' fleet size to over 500 Hino trucks.

The signing ceremony held at the Hino headquarters in Calamba, Laguna on February 16 was attended by J&T Express Chief Executive Officer Dean Ding, HMP Chairman Vicente T. Mills, Jr., HMP President Shingo Sakai, J&T Express Director of Procurement Arron Wang, Director of Operations John Yi and Hino Paranaque President Edward Tan.

Truly, J&T Express has become a part of the Hino family, and we look forward to continuing this relationship with them. We understand the demands for such a big company, and that’s why we are willing to offer customizable plans for their maintenance and repair needs to sustain everyday use of the trucks,” shared Mills, HMP Chairman

With the growing demands of the e-commerce industry, we aim to continue expanding our fleet to provide quality last-mile delivery services for our customers. The ceremony also included Hino's newest product, the Hino 200 series, which is their lightest commercial vehicle and is positioned to be the ideal partner for logistics firms' last-mile deliveries.
