Hino turns over modern PUVs to Iloilo transport coop
MANILA: Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) revealed that it has turned over 90 units of its modern public utility vehicle (PUV) Class 2-S vehicles to Metro Iloilo Transport Service Cooperative (MITSCOOP).

Hino turned over 90 modern PUVs to Metro Iloilo Transport Service Cooperative.A handover ceremony was staged at the MITSCOOP Headquarters in Jaro, Iloilo City where Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board Region VI Director Richard Osmena, along with MITSCOOP officers led by their Chairman Josemarie delos Reyes, received the vehicles from HMP President Shingo Sakai.
According to HMP, the said modern PUVs will ease the day-to-day transport of Iloilo City commuters as they ply six routes around the city coursing through Barrio Obrero, Ungka via CPU, Ungka via Diversion Festive Walk Hub, La Paz via ISAT-U, Hibao-an via Tabucan, and Bito-on to Jaro via Balabago routes.
The Hino PUV Class 2-S has a width of 2,100 millimeters to provide extra space and improved comfort for passengers. In addition, it is also mounted on a Japan-made Hino chassis and a PUV body designed and built also by Hino so users are assured of quality inside and out.
