HARI revealed the commercial van's new name last February 14.

The new name was announced in time for its Valentine's Day initiative with Flowerstore.ph.
  • Now called the Solati, the retitled commercial van from the official distributor of Hyundai commercial vehicles in the Philippines made its debut last Valentine’s Day in an initiative made with Flowerstore.ph.

Aside from finally adopting its global name, locally-offered Hyundai Solati (Latin for “comfort” or “solace”) has retained the features of the H350 inside and out.

The 16-seater commercial van is 6,195 millimeters long, 2,038 mm wide, and 2,760 mm tall with a 3,670-mm wheelbase and ground clearance of 185 mm.

No updates were also fitted in the Hyundai Solati in terms of exterior and interior aesthetics.

Outside, the Hyundai Solati still wears a black front bumper with integrated steps. It still has a total of five doors (two at the front that can be swung open, one for the middle row that can be side-slid manually and two cabinet-type rear doors) that can be locked electronically.

For the cabin, all the seats of the Hyundai Solati are covered in leatherette material.

The people carrier also features overhead shelves, air-conditioning system with vents on the front and rear, roof-mounted ventilation, and electric power step.

Just like the H350, the Hyundai Solati continues to be powered by the 2.5-liter turbocharged direct inject diesel engine that can deliver nearly 168 horsepower and almost 422 Newton-meters of torque. The aforementioned mill is still matched to a six-speed manual transmission.

Providing the stopping power are the hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear. Absorbing the bumps and ruts on the road are the McPherson struts (front) as well as leaf springs (rear).

The technologies installed in the Hyundai Solati include dual airbags anti-brakelock system, keyless entry system, and emergy glass hammer that is at the vehicle’s left middle pillar.
