Hyundai PH Introduces Motorcycle Carrier Body Application of HD78 GT

MANILA: The Hyundai HD78 GT is going all out in propelling the growing haulage business industry in the Philippines. The Hyundai HD78 GT is customizable, big, and robust enough to carry heavy cargo but easy to drive even through side streets. Its newest body application, the Hyundai HD78 GT Motorcycle Carrier, is positioned to serve a market that has shown steady growth in sales since 2020.

The Hyundai HD78 GT Motorcycle Carrier has an Extra Long Wheelbase (ELWB) variant with a deck length of up to 19.5 feet and a payload capacity of 3.9 tons, allowing it to accommodate up to 24 motorcycles.

It is powered by a 2.9-liter turbocharged intercooler diesel engine produces 160ps of power and 40kg-m of torque. It also comes with the PTO (Power Take-Off) feature that delivers engine power to operate auxiliary equipment. PTO increases the truck's versatility beyond its regular hauling function. Energy that would have been wasted is collected and utilized for a number of tasks that provide added value to a business.

The Hyundai HD78 GT Motorcycle Carrier is built on a high-strength ladder frame chassis, allowing it to handle heavy loads and harsh road conditions. Cross-member reinforcement prevents twisting and bending, while the anti-collision door beams and the sturdy, rust-proof steel cab and frame diffuse the impact on the sides and front in case of a collision.
