Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cebu opens new 3S facility

MANILA: Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has officially inaugurated its newest dealership facility in Central Visayas, Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cebu.

The new dealership was launched virtually in a newscast-inspired program that highlighted Hyundai’s commitment to expand its commercial vehicle business in the Visayas region. The event also showcased the brand’s impact in different businesses and industries in the country.

Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cebu is owned and operated by Hyundai Cebu, Inc. (HCI). The new 3S (sales, service, spare parts) dealership covers 2,000 square meters of space that houses Hyundai truck and bus units, offers superior service and maintenance, and responds adroitly to customer needs. The facility was developed based on Hyundai’s Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI).

The government has also extended its well-wishes on the new Hyundai facility in Cebu. Presidential Assistant to the Visayas Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino said, “As we move forward along the path to economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we look into the future with optimism and relief that we have partners such as HARI and HCI that will uplift Visayas economy, ensuring our continued growth and sustained development in the region.”

Since 2002, HCI has been an official Hyundai dealer. Prior to this, it has already credited 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. HCI was awarded as the Dealer of the Year by HARI in 2007, 2008, and 2009. It was also recognized as the Asia-Pacific Dealer of the Year by Hyundai Motor Company in 2008 and 2009.

In 2016, HCI was appointed the official Hyundai CV dealer by HARI. Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cebu has garnered three recognitions from HARI in 2017, including Top Sales Team, Best in Country Sales, and Best in Light-Medium Duty Sales. In 2018, it ranked second in the Award of Excellence for Wholesale, and in 2019, emerged as a champion in Top Performance for truck sales and Best in Over-the-counter Parts Sales in HARI’s CV Dealer of the Year Awards.
