Isuzu PH displays NLR77 PUV at 2024 LTO Motor Show

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) showcased its NLR77 Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Class 2 at the latest Land Transportation Office (LTO) Motor Show.

The event, who was also celebrates the agency’s 112th founding anniversary, featured other modernized PUV units ( as well as electric vehicles) that highlight the LTO’s support to the Department of Transportation’s PUV modernization program (PUVMP).

 

Based on the N-Series light-duty truck, the model offers a spacious interior with side facing seats, panoramic windows, and an electronic folding type door. It is also equipped with a global positioning system, an automated fare collection system, on-board monitors, closed-circuit television cameras, and digital signboards — in compliance to the Philippine National Standards (PNS) guidelines for Class 2 type PUV.

In a statement, IPC noted its strong and reliable after-sales support that can be availed in any of its 48 nationwide outlets that ensures transport cooperatives can maintain their fleet efficiently — minimizing downtime and maintaining high standards of operation.

By showcasing models like the Isuzu PUV Class 2, we are demonstrating our dedication to improving public transport through innovative design and technology, aiming to deliver a safer, more comfortable commuter experience,” IPC Vice President for Sales Toshihiko Kojima said.
