J&T Express further expands fleet with Foton vehicles

MANILA: Courier services company PH Global Jet Express, Inc., popularly known as J&T Express, continued to show its trust for Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) by acquiring a new batch of Foton trucks and commercial vehicles.

Foton aims to support J&T Express in delivering efficient service to their customers using their topnotch vehicle units.

The order was signed by FMPI President Rommel Sytin and J&T Express CEO Ding Lei. Also present at the contract signing were FMPI Vice President for Sales and Marketing Levy S. Santos, FMPI Vice President for Dealer Development Alvin L. Lu, FMPI Vice President for Customer Service Division Erroll E. Dueñas, FMPI Assistant Vice President for Heavy Business Division Christopher S. Sta. Maria, and J&T Express Purchasing Director Aaron Wang.

In a statement, J&T Express Philippines Vice President Zoe Chi said, “As a logistics company, it is important to forge partnership with a reputable manufacturer that provides us quality units with latest advancement in technology and reliable 24/7 customer service support.”

Since 2019, Foton has been a partner of J&T Express for its transport capabilities. Both companies aim to maintain and strengthen the connection of businesses to their consumers amid the crisis that is brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Being part of a fast-paced business, it is really important to find a reliable partner that will help you successfully expand and achieve business growth,” Chi added. “Foton stays consistent with their promise.”

Aside from its highly reliable commercial vehicles, Foton has also been providing first-class customer service. FMPI recently launched its 24/7 on-site after-sales programs and various after-sales service promos. The company’s outstanding customer service programs won the trust of various businesses in the Philippines, including the country’s first e-commerce delivery company, J&T Express.

Chi shared, “Customer service, reliability, flexibility, speed of service, and most importantly, the truck engine and van body quality—these are the considerations of J&T in choosing a mobility partner for logistics operations. We decided to choose Foton as our long-time partner in business since they have enough physical stores and service centers to conduct repair and maintenance for trucks which are allocated nationwide. They also provide an on-site service to the remote areas.”

As the demand in e-commerce logistics increases, FMPI and J&T Express believes that their partnership will even be stronger in the years to come.
