MACC brings in new MAN TG series

MANILA: MAN, being one of the world’s oldest engineering firms, has a long history of innovation in diesel engine technology and the development of the modern truck. It has continually improved its trucks’ dependability, efficiency, and durability throughout the years by implementing practical upgrades. The original TG series was created more than two decades ago in response to changing customer and societal demands, and it has numerous awards and has gained the trust of truckers all over the world.

More than 10 years ago, MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corporation (MACC) launched the first TG series in the Philippines. The TGA and TGS were known for their fuel efficiency and dependability. Using MACC’s expertise in providing timely after-sales support, the TG transformed the landscape of the trucking industry in the country by raising the bar of customer expectation.

The new TG made its global debut in early 2020, which coincided with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost exactly two years later, MACC brings in the new TG to the Philippine market.

The new MAN TGX was hailed as the International Truck of the Year in 2021. It is unparalleled in heavy-duty, long-distance transportation, and despite this, it has undergone significant changes to meet the ever-changing needs of truckers worldwide. These improvements include aerodynamics, fuel efficiency, driver ergonomics, contemporary design, and industry-specific safety assistance systems.

The TGX range is loaded with features that set it apart from the rest of the pack. The premium cabs are built with the latest technological innovations and with the driver’s comfort and safety in mind.

The new TGX is not only more comfortable, but also more dynamic and cost-effective than any previous model. The new truck’s drivetrain has been fine-tuned for efficiency and performance, allowing it to squeeze even more power from every drop of fuel. Economical engines, enhanced aerodynamics, and many other efficiency-improving technologies in the new TGX result in fuel savings of up to 3.7%. The MAN TGX allows every trucker to go further with less.
