Sojitz Fuso PH achieves 31% sales growth YOY in Oct. 2024

MANILA: Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) has achieved a 30.7-percent sales growth from January-October 2024 when compared to the same period last year. 

The truck distributor and manufacturer disclosed the aforementioned at its recently concluded 2024 National Dealer Conference at Okada Manila, Paranaque City. 

According to SFP, the significant growth in sales for the said period further solidified Fuso’s position as a leading commercial vehicle provider. Furthermore, the company attributed its growing strength in the market to its ability to deliver “reliable, efficient, and durable commercial vehicles.”

In the same event, SFP highlighted its recent accolades from the Daimler Truck RC SEA Awards 2024. Specifically, it received three awards: the Elite Class Southeast Asia (Silver Winner), the Best CSP Product Innovation Award, and the Retail Sales Excellence Award. 

“These recognitions are the testaments to the hard work and dedication of Fuso Philippines and our whole dealer network. We are honored to share these awards with you,” Fuso Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Yosuke Nishi said. 

At the SFP conference, the company likewise hailed its top-performing dealerships in terms of sales, after-sales, marketing, and network. 

Some of the Fuso dealerships with the highest sales contributions include the following: 

• PMPI- Fuso Cainta
• FAPC - Fuso Mactan
• DMC - Fuso Macros Highway
• AMC - Fuso Carmona
• Evolander Motor Corporation

The Marketing Excellence Award, meanwhile, went to CWI - Fuso Pampanga, the Digital Marketing Compliance Award to GAC - Fuso Cabanatuan, the Event Initiatives Award to FAPC - Fuso Cagayan De Oro, and the Digital Sales Champion Award to CWI - Fuso Pampanga. 

“The partnership between SFP and the dealer network has experienced ups and downs. We faced the adverse effects of COVID-19 in 2020-2021, just a year after the company’s official opening,” Nishi said. 

“We managed to ‘Rebuild and Recover’ in 2022 and continue applying the ‘Progress Together’ theme in 2023. This year, 2024, we will remain true to the theme ‘Moving Forward.’ There will be challenges, but we will continue progressing with the momentum we’ve built. This leads me to our constant call for y our support to keep the efforts going. We have a long way to go, but are already making headway,” Nishi shared further.
