Audi is an iconic name in the market of automobiles. With a reputation for exemplary luxury cars, Audi has come up with the flagship SUV Q7. The Q7 took the SUV market by storm because of its beautiful styling, looks, and the storehouse of features it delivers.
There are two variants to the Audi Q7 - the Q7 3.0 TDI and the Q7 3.0 TDI S. Both the variants come in 8 color options - Black Metallic, Blue Metallic, Glacial White Metallic, Argus Brown Metallic, Floret Silver Metallic, Night Black, Cararra White, and Graphite Grey.
Adorned with several cool features like MMI Informant System, Power Door Locks, Anti-Theft System, Engine Immobilizer, Automatic Climate Control, etc., the Audi Q7 can easily compete with SUV kings like Mercedes Benz GL Class and BMW X5.
Audi Q7 Exterior
Audi has made sure their flagship looks and feels like the most premium car in the SUV segment. No compromise has been made in the designing of the interior or exterior of this luxurious vehicle.
The exterior gives a boxy appearance with chrome finish plates and radiator grille, with the Audi logo in front. The bold look of the Q7 is enhanced with the xenon headlamps, body-colored bumpers, and wide air intake section. The style quotient is enhanced with the sporty roof spoiler with LED high mount brake lights and curvy boot lid. The side profile is adorned with body-colored door handles, expressive lines, and flared wheel arches for the 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior keeps up with the stylish exterior with the dual color scheme with wood and chrome finishing. It is spacious with plush premium leather seats with memory function and electric adjustments for the best possible comfort. The rear seats can be folded up to increase the boot space in case of additional storage requirements. Apart from these, the basic features of Audi SUVs like cruise control function, control mounted steering wheels, power windows, audio systems are also included. Another practical addition is the use of ambient lights, which enhances the premium experience of the Q7.
Q7 Ride & Handling
The Audi Q7 offers two variants, the Q7 TDI Quattro and the Q7 TDI Quattro S. Both variants are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission gearbox. This makes the handling of the Audi Q7 an effortless and smooth experience.
Audi Q7 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Audi Q7 comes in two variants, namely the Q7 3.0 TDI and the Q7 3.0 TDI S. Both the variants are powered by the mighty 2967cc engine, which gives a maximum power of 202 hp in the Quattro and 243 hp in the Quattro S. Both, however, have the same peak torque of 500 Nm at 2000 rpm.
Both variants come with a six-speed Dual Clutch gearbox. However, the Quattro has a maximum speed of 205 km/hr with fuel consumption of 7.2L/100km, while the Quattro S has a maximum speed of 217 km/hr with fuel consumption of 7.4L/100km.
Q7 Braking & Safety
German automakers are known to be the safest in the industry, and likewise, Audi does not disappoint. The Q7 is well equipped with driver, passenger, dual front, knee, curtains for side airbags. This is accompanied by seat restraints which assure maximum protection in case of collision. It also comes with a child lock system, immobilizer, and security alarm system for maximum protection. Other basic safety features include a parking system, reverse camera, and anti-theft alarm system.
The braking and handling system of the Q7 is also well equipped with an electronic stabilizer program, anti-lock braking system, hydraulic brake assist, etc.
