The Lynk & Co 06 is a potent choice for local buyers who are on the hunt for a relatively peppy crossover, which combines contemporary styling with plenty of onboard tech. 

For its engine, the 06 uses a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbocharged gasoline mill paired with a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch gearbox. At maximum, the said powertrain can churn out 178 horsepower and 290 Newton-meters of torque.

Most notably, it was kitted out with a relatively large 10.25-inch high-definition digital display, which does a lot of legibility. Plus, the screen is customizable, and it can show many relevant vehicle parameters in clear color graphics. 

A tilt and telescopic multi-function steering wheel and a six-way power-adjustable seat provide added convenience for the pilot of the 06. Particularly for the driver, it also adds power-adjustable lumbar support. 

Other driver-specific bits of the 06 include a push-to-start button, a smart entry system, paddle shifters, an electronic parking brake, and a drive mode selector. 

Apart from having the potential to be a great driver’s car, the 06 also has a lot going for it in terms of becoming a convenient daily driver. 

For instance, it features a default trunk space of 280 liters, which is more than enough for grocery shopping and one or two-day bags. Fold the rear seats down, and the said space can be expanded to a total of 1,025 liters, which is more than enough for several travel bags or long-ish sports equipment. 

Coincidentally, accessing the trunk is likewise made easy thanks to the vehicle’s power tailgate. The rear seats also have a 60:40 split functionality for added versatility, and if the cargo space is not enough, one can also use a roof storage product since the model comes with roof rails.

The Philippine-spec Lynk & Co 06 is offered as the entry-level Hyper Core Plus, which is priced at P1.299 million. The mid-spec Hyper Pro, meanwhile, is priced at P1.488 million. Topping off the model’s variant lineup is the Hyper Halo, which retails at P1.598 million.
