Jetour T1 Review 2026
Jetour strengthened its presence within the Philippines’ highly-competitive hybrid market through the release of its T1, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). This 5-seater SUV is a capable adventure-seeker that can confidently brave through unpleasant off-road terrains, yet remains refined and very usable inside the city thanks to its impressive efficiency and driver-friendly maneuverability (despite its towering figure). This SUV can set you apart from other vehicles on the road with its hypermodern, rugged look, which exudes a commanding presence wherever it goes. The Jetour T1 comes in a single variant - Lightning i-DM, which is priced at ₱1.898 million. It is available in five colours: Khaki White, Sand Gold, Electroplated Green, Night Black, and Silver Snow.
Jetour T1 Interior & Features
If the Jetour T1’s exterior design looks brutish and sporty, its interior layout is a whole different story. Inside, you are greeted by a luxurious-looking cabin, which features premium finishes and environment-friendly materials around the vehicle. It has a nice combination of soft-touch trims and hard plastics. You have loads of room both in the first and second rows, which can effectively accommodate five passengers. Its leather seats offer great cushioning and ergonomics even on long-distance trips out of town.
Upfront, all passengers can enjoy a 15.6-inch center LCD infotainment display that comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, voice control, and a Qualcom Snap Dragon chip. This display is connected to a 9-speaker Sony sound system, which delivers very immersive sound acoustics all around the vehicle.
Meanwhile, drivers are given a high-tech cockpit that consists of a 10.25-inch full-LCD instrument cluster, a leather steering wheel that is good-to-the-touch, and a crystal gear knob, which offers a satisfying, pilot-like experience.
In terms of practicality and functionality, this SUV comes with a generous cargo space, boot storage boxes, front and trunk 12V power connectors, two USB and two Type-C ports, and a wireless charger.
Jetour T1 Exterior
The Jetour T1 measures 4,705 mm in length, 1,967 mm in width, and 1,843 mm in height. This SUV has a 2,800 mm wheelbase and an impressive 200 mm ultra-high ground clearance, which gives it the ability to brave through rocky and muddy off-road terrains.
From the outside, the Jetour T1 looks like a more tamed version of the T2. It has a macho build similar to its more expensive cousin, but it also features more subtle design cues and elements that are very nice to look at. It flaunts a hypermodern, rugged facade accentuated by a ‘Horizon’ light bar on its front grille and ‘Cloverleaf’ automatic LED headlights. This SUV also comes with LED DRLs and fog lights for better visibility and illumination especially at night.
Its boxy silhouette is very evident on the side. It has a sporty side profile enhanced by blacked-out window trims, wheel arches, and side garnishes. It also comes with side pedals for easier ingress and egress. This SUV runs on a robust-looking set of 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
Similar to its facade, it also has a rugged, hypermodern-looking back end illuminated by boxy LED taillights that also have a cloverleaf pattern. For more convenient loading and unloading of cargo, it also comes with a power tailgate with a memory function. Additionally, a panoramic sunroof enhances its overall appearance.
Jetour T1 Ride & Handling
The Jetour T1 utilizes a suspension combination of a MacPherson independent type at the front, while a Multi-Link independent type at the rear. This suspension setup allows this SUV to effortlessly absorb bumpy, uneven concrete pavements and rocky off-road terrains. Despite its muscular build, it is also nimble to maneuver even when passing through tight traffic and narrow streets. Ultimately, the T1 can deliver a comfortable and very adaptable ride both on and off-road.
Jetour T1 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Jetour T1 is powered by the brand’s i-DM (plug-in hybrid) technology that combines a 1.5L gasoline engine, which has a maximum power output of 140 hp and a maximum net torque of 215 Nm, with a single Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, which generates a 150 kW motor power and a 310 Nm motor torque. This PHEV’s motor is mated to a single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) system. It utilizes a front-wheel drivetrain and is equipped with four driving modes: Eco, Sport, Normal, and Snow.
On the highway, this SUV can overtake slower vehicles with ease thanks to all its torque. Its transmission is also smooth and responsive. But, the aspect where it excels the most is definitely efficiency. The T1 offers an impressive fuel economy even when driving in mixed conditions within the traffic-heavy Metro Manila. It also comes with a top-notch sound insulation system, leading to a quiet and very relaxed experience inside the cabin.
Jetour T1 Braking & Safety
The Jetour T1 comes with several advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, front and rear collision warning, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and a 540-degree panoramic image among others.
Its braking setup is also supported by an anti-lock braking system, multiple brake assist features (e.g., electronic brakeforce distribution), and multiple traction control features, hill assist, hill descent control, and multiple stability control features. This SUV comes with ventilated discs for front braking, while solid discs for the rear.
Jetour T1 Verdict
In my opinion, the Jetour T1 is a very great choice for your first SUV or hybrid vehicle. It is very feature-packed, practical for everyday use, and is just a reliable companion for your daily city commute as well as your weekend out-of-town trips. It deserves more attention from local consumers moving forward.
