Today, we take a quick look at what VinFast Philippines has in store for car buyers who want to become early adopters.

    VinFast VF e34

The VinFast VF e34 is one of the brand’s entries into the Philippine crossover segment.

Measuring just 4,300 millimeters (mm) long, 1,768 mm wide, and 1,615 mm tall, it offers would-be owners a compact-sized electric vehicle (EV) for those dwelling in the city. Its decent ground clearance (165 mm) and wheelbase (2,611 mm) can make it a proper car to brave our country’s common urban terrain.

Outside, the VinFast VF e34’s notable features include its LED headlamps with automatic on and off function, LED daytime running lights (DRL), power-folding side mirrors with turn signals, and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. It also comes with a power tailgate.

Inside it gets a seven-inch instrument cluster, a 10-inch infotainment display, and a single-zone automatic air conditioning system.

VinFast slapped the VF e34 with a single electric motor capable of producing some 147 horses with 242 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. It also packs a battery that can provide drivers with approximately 318 kilometers (km) of emissions-free driving.

    VinFast VF 5

The VinFast VF 5 is yet another crossover from the carmaker’s lineup.

It is smaller than the VF e34 and has an overall length of 3,967 mm, an overall width of 1,725 mm, and an overall height of 1,578 mm. It clears the ground higher at 168 mm but has a shorter wheelbase at 2,514 mm.

The VinFast V5 is touted as the Gen Z EV as it has looks that could appeal to the younger generation. Its six exterior colors (Iris Berry, Mint Green, Electric Blue, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, and Zenith Gray) are complemented by simple and functional features such as headlamps with follow-me-home and automatic on and off functions, power-folding side mirrors, a seven-inch instrument panel, and an eight-inch infotainment screen.

Power for the VinFast VF 5 also comes from a single motor that makes 134 horsepower (hp) and 135 Nm of pulling power. It has an all-electric driving range of around 326 km.

    VinFast VF 7

Looking to make its mark in the local EV SUV segment, VinFast has showcased the VF 7. It will be offered in two variants upon launch and based on the company’s literature, the difference between the base and the Plus model are the availability of advanced driver assist features and the number of their respective electric motors.

It is also offered in two variants but a dual electric motor setup is made standard with average power production ranging to about 402 hp (201 from each motor). The estimated range for the base model is yet to be announced but the Plus variant can go as far as 602 km on a single charge.
