Here are the PH-market Toyota Corolla Cross' colors

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently launched the latest iteration of the Corolla Cross. Not only did it sport a new look, but is also now offered exclusively with a hybrid powertrain system.

Alongside the major updates to the brand’s crossover offering, the palette of the nameplate also underwent a few changes. On that note, we take a quick look at the five available colors of the updated Toyota Corolla Cross.

Metal Stream Metallic

The Toyota Corolla Cross’ Metal Stream Metallic color is a gray paint that leans towards the hue’s lighter shade.

As a result, the crossover looks both rugged and classy at the same time. The blacked-out sport utility vehicle-like exterior appointments (wheel arches, door claddings, front and rear bumper) make it look like it’s ready for spontaneous adventures while the sleek gray paintwork give it a sophisticated aura.

Complementing this “best-of-both-worlds” look are a pair of LED headlamps and daytime running lights, LED fog lamps, 18-inch wheels, and LED taillights with line guides.

Celestite Gray Metallic

Alright, the color that says “gray” on its name actually has more blue in it than gray.

That said Celestite Gray Metallic offers a light and soft color with a dash of azure or cerulean. The modern-looking hue could be seen as a representation of the Toyota Corolla’s powertrain system.

Under its hood is a hybrid system with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. It makes some 120 horses with 142 Newton-meters of pulling power.

Other modern-day technologies offered by the Toyota Corolla Cross include a 123-inch instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless charging dock, and an automatic dual-zone air conditioning system.

Platinum White Pearl Mica

White is a color often associated with safety, which the Toyota Corolla Cross has no shortage of.

On top of standard safety technologies like seatbelts and airbags, the Toyota Corolla Cross has an anti-lock brake system, electronic brake distribution, vehicle stability control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, as well as clearance and back sensors.

In addition, the upper variants of the Toyota Corolla Cross get the Toyota Safety Sense suite of safety features, which adds a pre-collision system, automatic high beam, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert, and cruise control.

Platinum White Pearl Mica / Attitude Black Mica

The range-topping GR-S variant of the Toyota Corolla Cross comes with unique colors and one of these is the two-tone white-on-black colorway.

It pretty much looks like the aforementioned Platinum White Pearl Mica but gets a black roof for a more robust look. Speaking of which, it gets a panoramic moonroof and a pair of roof rails.

Emotional Red / Attitude Black Mica

For those who really want a sportier-looking Toyota Corolla Cross may want to get the red-on-black two-tone colorway — Emotional Red / Attitude Black Mica.

This paintwork not only embodies the fast and sporty nature of the Toyota Gazoo Racing team. And since it is a Gazoofied-version, it comes with unique appointments like model-specific grille, wheels, and upholstery.
