The BYD Shark 6 Dual Mode Off-road (DMO) is the marque’s latest model in the Philippine market. BYD Cars Philippines brought in the nameplate in March 2025, and it now competes in the highly contested local pickup truck segment.

For the driver, the vehicle provides a modern-looking leather-wrapped steering wheel with plenty of buttons. Found on the said part is a dedicated scrolling button for the drive and terrain modes, buttons and toggles for the ADAS system and 360-degree view camera, as well as auxiliary buttons for the model’s music player.

Behind the steering wheel is a 10.25-inch liquid crystal display. The sizable screen functions as the model’s digital gauge cluster, and it uses crisp graphics to feed crucial in-vehicle parameters to the person piloting the ride. 

Moreover, the Shark 6 DMO comes with a heads-up display (HUD), which shows speed, the status of the model’s adaptive cruise control, and other relevant information. The HUD, interestingly enough, is very adjustable and uses a similar crystal clear interface as the main digital gauge cluster.
