Love at first sight: How the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 captivated the Del Rosario family

In 2016, 34-year-old professional sales representative Lester del Rosario was strolling at a mall with his wife Mheann when they stumbled upon a Mitsubishi car display. Upon checking out the sleek cars, Mheann told her husband, “Look oh, ang simple pero ang lakas ng dating ng Mitsubishi Mirage. (The Mitsubishi Mirage looks simple but has a strong presence).” These words convinced Lester to put down an order for a Mirage.

Lester said, “That time I was actually looking for a car that would fit my style while at the same time be fuel efficient and affordable. The moment I saw the Mirage G4 at the mall and talked to the sales agent, I told myself that I will buy this car.”

Aside from the Mirage G4’s stylish looks, Lester was also impressed by the car’s functional amenities. “After checking the car out I fell in love with it and we immediately approached the sales agent to ask for details and requirements,” Lester recalled. Since the car in the display really caught his eye, Lester told the sales consultant he wanted the exact color, Virgil Gray, and a G4.

The instant attraction turned out to be long lasting. Lester and his family has cherished their Mitsubishi Mirage G4 unit. “The name of our Mirage is ‘Uno.’ My wife chose the name because according to her the Mirage will be memorable to us since it is our first brand-new car as a family.”

The car has served as Lester’s companion on his daily drive to work. In his job as a sales representative, Lester has brought his car to various places in the country from as far as Pagudpud to way down south in Sorsogon.

Uno is not the first Mitsubishi vehicle that Lester has owned. He also owned a second-hand Mitsubishi Lancer. With the convenience that the Mirage G4 offers, Lester only has words of praise for his latest Mitsubishi ride. “This is our first automatic transmission car and I find it more relaxing to drive especially during long runs,” Lester said. He also shared the feature that he likes the most about his car—the remarkable fuel economy.

With over 94,000 km traveled, Uno remains to be a reliable member of the del Rosario family. Lester shared, “Marami na kaming pinagsamahan ni Uno. Never siyang pumalya o nagka-aberya saan man kami mapunta. (We have been through a lot with Uno. It has never failed to bring us safely wherever we want to go.)”

“Mitsubishi is known for producing quality and fuel-efficient cars,” Lester adds. “This goes hand in hand with the tagline, 'Drive Your Ambition.' The Mirage is the best example of that and I can prove it because I have already driven my car to different parts of the country and yet it is still in good shape and to this day, it continues to give us a safe ride.”

Because the Mirage G4 is easy to drive, easy to own, and easy to maintain, it has been a treasured member of Lester’s family. He even said, “If I rate the Mirage from 1 to 10, I will give it a score of 1,000! We love Uno so much that we consider it as our second child.”

The relationship of Uno with the del Rosario family started with love at first sight, but this long-term relationship proves that the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is truly for keeps.
