Nissan Almera N-Sport: The classic sedan’s sporty alter ego
If you’re not a fan of the exterior design of the classic Almera, or are wondering if the sedan could be a little more sporty, Nissan developed an alternative: the Nissan Almera N-Sport (coming in two variants).
What makes the N-Sport different from the typical Almera is a sportier exterior, which features a slightly altered front fascia with a specially designed front bumper and chrome front grille. The sedan sports unique 15-inch alloy wheels which are also exclusive to the N-Sport.
To emphasize its identity, the Nissan Almera N-Sport is marked with an N-Sport emblem on its tailgate.
On the inside, the Almera N-Sport is like its sibling in that it offers a spacious cabin, with generous legroom and headroom to ensure that it provides premium comfort to all its occupants. It also features a first-class infotainment system which is manufactured by German electronics producer Blaupunkt. This audio system is equipped with a tuner, auxiliary output, Bluetooth, multimedia playback, USB and phonelink connectivity.
Just like the standard Almera, the N-Sport type uses a 1.5-liter petrol engine. You can choose between N-Sport’s two trims: the five-speed manual transmission variant and the four-speed automatic transmission variant.
The Nissan Almera N-Sport comes with an "intelligent key" that allows convenient access to the doors and the trunk, and easy engine start. The car’s dashboard features a drive computer that indicates fundamental car data such as average and current kpl (kilometers per liter) reading, distance to an empty fuel tank, and outdoor temperature.
Another modern feature of this sporty sedan is the rear sonar system which can help you park safely in narrow spaces.
The Almera’s roomy interior is supplied with a lot of cabin compartments such as a glove box and front door pockets to keep your documents safe, rear cup holders to carry your hot and cold drink, and an upper glove pocket with aux and USB ports to properly store your gadgets.
To secure your sedan, the Almera N-Sport is made with the Nissan safety shield approach that protects occupants in case of collisions or accidents. This safety concept features the Nissan advanced air bag system which includes dual-stage, side-impact, and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with sensors. The vehicle also provides a confident and smart braking, brought by the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the electronic brake force distribution (EBD) functions. To protect your vehicle from car theft, the Nissan Almera is equipped with a unique engine immobilizer which blocks the engine from being ran by just any unauthorized key.
You can drive home the Nissan Almera N-Sport for as low as P735,000 for the 1.5 N-Sport MT variant, and P890,000 for the 1.5 N-Sport AT variant.
