The 3 variants of Kia Soluto

The Kia Soluto is the Korean carmaker’s contender in the subcompact sedan segment, boasting style and substance in equal measure.

LX MT

The LX MT is the base variant of the Soluto. It features a traditional sedan look, embellished with halogen headlamps, chrome radiator grille, body-colored door handles, fender-mounted turn signal indicators, short pole antenna, and rear fog lamp. The sedan is fitted with 14-inch steel wheels.

Inside, the model is equipped with a polyurethane steering wheel and gear shift knob, fabric seats, a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, power windows, power door locks, two cupholders at the center console, and a bottle holder on each door.

The LX MT is powered by a 1.4-liter four cylinder engine that produces 93 horsepower and 132 Newton-meters of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

In terms of safety features, the Soluto comes with dual front airbags, anti-lock brake system, child anchor, child lock on the rear doors, and rear-camera display with static guidelines.

The Soluto LX MT is available in four colors: Clear White, Cashmere Beige, Blue Steam, and Aurora Black Pearl. It is priced at P780,000.

LX AT

The features of the LX AT are almost the same as the base variant. Their only differences are the transmission as this variant gets a four-speed automatic transmission, and the wheels as it comes with 14-inch alloy wheels.

Pricing for the Soluto LX AT is at P835,000.

EX AT

Exclusive to the top-of-the-line Soluto variant are the front fog lamps, outside-mirror-mounted turn signal indicators and chrome door handles.

Its cabin is equipped with leather steering wheel and gear shift knob, leatherette seats, and height adjuster for the driver’s seat.

Additional safety and security features include rear parking distance warning and immobilizer.

An additional color option is also available for the EX AT — Mercato Red.

The Soluto EX AT retails for P865,000.
