The exterior design features tapered headlights, a two-slot style front grill complete with a honeycomb design, LED daytime running lights, faux side air intakes, and turbine-style 16-inch alloy wheels. The fresh set of tail lights and shapely tailgate can be seen on the rear which portrays a simple and candid look. To personalize the vehicle, the automaker offers an optional two-paint tone and choice of 22 color combinations. With the increased size and more mature look design, the model is ready to take on the other A-segment cars including Celario, Brio, Picanto, Wigo, and Mirage.
Moving inside the vehicle, a vibrant appearance of the cabin can be seen with splashes of white and grey cover. The cabin looks more ergonomic and sporty with unique honeycomb 3D design on the centre dashboard and youth-inspired centre console. The option of 4 and 5 seats are available in different variants and the trunk capacity measures 252 litres which according to the Hyundai best in the line-up. The vehicle incorporates several cabin amenities which includes 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, Bluelink telematics, heated front seats, and automatic climate control.
Moving on the powertrain, the new Hyundai i10 is either powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine or a 1.2-litre four-cylinder motor. The latter produces 84 PS of power and 118 Nm of torque whereas the former delivers 67 PS of power with 96 Nm of torque. Both engine variants come with 'Idle Stop & Go' (ISG) to further increase the fuel-efficiency. Hyundai SmartSense is also added for safety which gives the driver assistance features including forwarding collision assist, high beam assist, lane-keep assist, driver attention warning, as well as intelligent speed limit warning.
