2020 Hyundai Venue to come out on April 17, sketches revealed

MANILA: Is there any shortage of crossovers and SUVs in Hyundai’s product portfolio? Certainly not, right? However, that hasn’t stopped the South Korean automobile manufacturer from developing another one. Set to target the entry-level crossover or SUV market, the Hyundai Venue will make its debut on coming 17th of April. The newest offering from Hyundai hasn’t taken too long to make its way out from the production line after the arrival of Palisade, a high-end SUV by the automaker.

Recently, Hyundai revealed the title of its newest crossover, and now, we also have official sketches doing rounds on the internet. These sketches have certainly helped one and all to perceive the appearance of the upcoming SUV. The front fascia of the Venue without a doubt have taken inspiration from the Kona as it also features LED DRLs on the corners of the hood and large headlamps housing on the bumper. The grille is also a typical Y-shaped unit that Hyundai has started using in its newer models. There are some distinct character lines all over the SUV which provide it with a menacing appearance.

The tailgate also features a bold character line and is flanked by a pair of squared taillamps. The roof of the crossover slopes downwards at the rear and also boasts roof rails. There is also a sketch of the interior which portrays a T-design dashboard inside the Venue. A floating touchscreen infotainment system is flanked by the centre air-con vents and has controls for the climate controls under it.

By the looks of the sketches, the Venue should be a looker. However, we have seen on numerous occasions that elements in concepts and sketches do not really make it to the production model. However, there is little time left before the Hyundai Venue steps on the podium at NY Auto Show 2019 on 17 April 2019 and we should have a better look at the crossover then.
