2020 Toyota Hiace spotted, features a hood

MANILA: All set to debut sometime later this year, the 2020 Toyota Hiace has been making quite a buzz in the automobile industry lately. Leaks, spy shots, and a lot have been flowing on the internet regarding the van. Talking about the latest clouds formed above the van, J. Club Legance, Toyota Hiace modifier from Japan has managed to snap some photographs of the newest iteration of the Hiace.

The images very loudly announce the new design language of the van. Up front, gone is the flat nose view and the Hiace now features a hood housing the engine under it. The overall design of the van has also been updated as the new Hiace packs much sleek and calm looks. The front fascia of the 2020 Hiace also includes new foglamps and updated headlamps flanking a large grille.

Other changes on the outside include prominent wheel arches, larger than before side windows, and a steep windshield. The side and rear profile are very much the same as the sliding doors and taillights appear to be similar to what we have already seen in the current generation Hiace.

To no surprise, the new design language of the van is very similar, or we should say identical to the spy shots we saw last year. A hood replacing the flat nose design is probably to make the van stand strong in crash tests and real world mishaps as well.

With the final production model (hopefully) spotted, we expect the 2020 Toyota Hiace to come out in front of the world sooner than later. The new design and other improvements should contribute in raking the sales numbers of Toyota higher than 2018 where it sold over 10 million vehicles.
