MANILA: The 2023 Honda BR-V is built to deliver value and satisfy Filipinos' need for mobility. Aside from delivering exceptional comfort, advanced safety, and a number of standard features, the Honda BR-V also performs exceptionally well in terms of fuel efficiency. Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) recently held a fuel economy run in collaboration with the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), putting the 2023 Honda BR-V to test. The V CVT variant achieved 24.7km/L, while the top-of-the-line VX CVT Honda Sensing variant registered 23.48km/L. The S CVT variant achieved 22.61km/L.

The new design, which is based on Honda's well-established track record for quality, dependability, and excellent overall value, blends the tough qualities of an SUV, the spaciousness and versatility of an MPV, and powerful performance yet fuel-efficient driving.
The 2023 Honda BR-V features a dynamic shape that looks sporty and edgy. Strong lines go from the front to the back of the body. The next-generation model commands an even stronger road presence, thanks to its increased ground clearance and new 17-inch alloy wheel design.
HCPI has introduced two new colors for the 2023 Honda BR-V: Premium Opal White Silver Pearl (VX CVT and V CVT) and Meteoroid Grey Metallic. The 2023 Honda BR-V is also available in three other colors: Crystal Black Pearl (V CVT and S CVT), Lunar Silver Metallic, and Taffeta White (S CVT and S MT).
The interior of the 2023 Honda BR-V is expertly designed to offer all occupants a cozier and more spacious environment. This model offers larger headroom and legroom for passengers in each row to better enjoy the cabin. The 2023 Honda BR-V can also accommodate more items with its larger cargo space. It is designed with a flexible interior that includes One-Touch Tumble Second-Row Seats and a Dive Down Mechanism for the third row to accommodate a variety of needs and adventures.
The 2023 Honda BR-V also features a functional interior design approach to provide comfort and practicality. The VX CVT and V CVT variants come with leather seats, while high-grade fabric is given to the S CVT and S MT variants. In addition, all variants of the 2023 Honda BR-V include an adjustable steering wheel and seat height adjuster for a more comfortable drive.
The cockpit area of the 2023 Honda Honda BR-V has been cleverly designed to focus on functionality for the driver and passengers. This model has a wide range of technology features, including a seven-inch advanced touchscreen display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Remote Engine Start, both offering convenience and ease of access.
In pursuit of Honda's global goal to achieve zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050, the VX CVT variant comes standard with Honda Sensing, which offers comprehensive protection for drivers and passengers by issuing warnings and taking actions to reduce the risks of accidents. Honda Sensing includes Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Auto-High Beam (AHB), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF).
Other safety features include speed-sensing auto door locks, dual and side Airbags, reverse camera with guidelines, driver and front passenger seatbelt reminder, anti-lock brake system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), vehicle stability assist (VSA), hill start assist, security alarm, immobilizer, emergency stop signal, and Isofix child seat anchor.
The VX CVT variant also comes with side curtain airbags, LaneWatch Camera, and rear seatbelt reminder. The Walk Away Auto Lock is available for the VX CVT and V CVT variants, while the remote engine start is available for the VX CVT, V CVT, and S CVT variants.
These safety features helped the 2023 Honda BR-V earn a five-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia) last September. This shows Honda's commitment to safety for everyone on the road so that they can truly appreciate the freedom of mobility and drive with assurance and peace of mind.
