MANILA: Subaru unveiled the 2024 WRX TR at the Subiefest Florida event held at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida, United States.

According to Subaru, the 2024 WRX TR will be rolled out in US dealerships early next year.The TR trim delivers exceptional performance and handling as it comes with improved suspension, retuned steering, and new performance tires.
For an enhanced stopping power, fade resistance, and pedal feel, the WRX TR comes with a high-performance Brembo braking system composed of red six-piston front calipers, red two-piston rear calipers, and larger pads, rotors, and brake master cylinder.
Improved body control and steering response are also achieved by the WRX TR thanks to the stiffer springs, revised damping rates, and retuned steering rack. The TR is fitted with 19-inch multi-spoke wheels and 245/35 Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires for increased wet and dry grip and improved braking performance.
The 2024 WRX features a wide-body design with prominent character lines running across the vehicle’s front, sides, and rear. It comes with Subaru’s hexagonal grille, a compact headlight design, roof-mounted shark fin antenna, an integrated low-profile rear spoiler, and tail lights that glow like a volcanic magma.
Inside, the WRX TR is equipped with Recaro seats for increased support. These seats are upholstered in black and gray ultrasuede with red stitching and the Recaro logo is imprinted on the seatbacks. The driver seat has eight-way power adjustment.
The TR trim also comes with the latest version of the Subaru Starlink 11.6-inch multimedia system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity.
Under the hood of the WRX TR is a 2.4-liter turbocharged Subaru Boxer engine that produces 271 horsepower and 349 Newton-meters of torque. It is mated to a manual transmission. The TR also comes with the Subaru symmetrical all-wheel drive and active torque vectoring.
The WRX TR also comes standard with the award-winning EyeSight driver assist technology, which includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking system, lane departure and sway warning, and lead vehicle start alert.
According to Subaru, the 2024 WRX TR will be rolled out in US dealerships early next year.
