3 Jaguar Land Rover models to make dynamic debuts at Goodwood

MANILA: Three new Jaguar Land Rover models representing the pinnacle of luxury, power, and innovation will make their global dynamic debuts at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed that will be held from June 23 to 26.

Visitors will be able to see the new Land Rover Range Rover Sport, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR Edition 1988, and the new Land Rover Defender 130 in action for the first time, all of which were launched within the past six weeks. The new Land Rover Range Rover and Jaguar F-Type R will join them on the Duke of Richmond's legendary hill climb route, demonstrating the Jaguar and Land Rover lineups' breadth of style, luxury, and innovation.

The dynamic route of the Festival of Speed is the perfect showcase for Range Rover Sport's unprecedented levels of responsiveness and performance, made possible by its revolutionary architecture, Dynamic Air Suspension, and the most advanced suite of chassis technology ever installed to a Land Rover. As a result, the new Range Rover Sport is more dynamic and exhilarating than ever before.

The third-generation luxury performance SUV combines remarkable modernity and a unique, imposing presence with a variety of powerful, efficient powertrains, including two six-cylinder electric hybrid plug-ins that produce an electric-only real-world range of up to 70 miles, six-cylinder 48V mild-hybrid Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, and a new V8 Twin Turbo 530-ps V8 that can accelerate from zero to 60mph in as fast as 4.3 seconds. Customers are already taking notice of this unparalleled set of capabilities, with over 4,000 UK orders placed in the first two weeks after its announcement.

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR Edition 1988, which was unveiled at the start of June, is a limited-edition model created to commemorate the 1988 race-winning Jaguar XJR-9. Its participation at the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be many people's first chance to hear the 550ps Supercharged V8 and observe the incredible attention to detail in its design. The car's Midnight Amethyst Gloss paintwork appears black until bright sunlight reveals its amethyst overtones, and the Champagne Gold forged alloy wheels and interior accents provide a delicate flair. Only 394 of these cars are available worldwide, as befitting such a unique vehicle.

Also set to raise a sensation on the hill climb is the all-wheel-drive Jaguar F-Type R, with its 575ps supercharged 5.0-liter V8, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 60mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed electronically limited to 186mph.

Rounding out the dynamic debuts is the new Land Rover Defender 130, which brings another dimension to the critically acclaimed series of all-terrain vehicles, with an enlarged body that implies more interior capacity, making it ideal for trips with up to eight adults sitting in comfort. While Land Rover's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (iAWD) system ensures the Defender 130 is unstoppable in the harshest off-road conditions, the Festival of Speed will provide the perfect opportunity to showcase the vehicle's capability to optimize on-road efficiency and comfort as necessary, too.

Goodwood will also be the first chance for many visitors to see the new Range Rover in action. The new Range Rover is the epitome of modern luxury, with more refinement and customization options than ever before. Over 10,000 UK orders have been placed since its debut earlier this year, indicating great demand for the latest version of an icon.

Away from the action on the hill, visitors may also stop by the Jaguar Land Rover booth to schedule a rear-wheel-drive F-Type drifting experience or a Land Rover off-road experience.
