All-new Dzire 1.2 GA is the most affordable Suzuki sedan in the PH

MANILA: We all are familiar with the popularity of the Suzuki Dzire in the Philippines. While the Japanese compact sedan is already a value for money kind of an automobile, how about if you get a variant of the Dzire at just Php 549,000? The deal would be quite amazing, haa? Well, this is real. Suzuki has actually launched the Dzire 1.2 GA that carries a price tag of just Php 549,000. This price makes the Dzire 1.2 GA the most affordable Suzuki sedan, which is even cheaper than Celerio by Php 9,000. Moreover, the Dzire 1.2 GA is good Php 89,000 less expensive than the 1.2 GL variant of the Japanese sedan.

Intended majorly for fleet and taxi usage, the Suzuki Dzire 1.2 GA misses out on a lot of elements and creature comforts to meet the affordable price tag. Starting with the exterior, the sedan features body-colored front bumper accents and grille surround instead of the chrome ones that we see on the higher-end models. Moving on, the sedan rides on 14-inch steel wheels and gets black door handles and side mirror caps.

Other features that do not make their way to the Suzuki Dzire 1.2 GA include rear air-conditioning vents, 12V power socket for the rear passengers, tachometer, power windows, and the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Instead of the touchscreen unit, a 1-DIN head unit with AM/FM radio, USB, and Aux connectivity will cater to your entertainment needs.

Powering the Dzire 1.2 GA is the same 1.2-litre K12M four-cylinder mill with VVT that is found on the other models as well. The power figures read 82 PS of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 113 Nm at 4,200 revs. A five-speed manual gearbox channels the power to the front wheels.

Safety equipment on the sedan comprises of anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, childproof rear door locks, and an immobilizer. Pearl Arctic White and Silky Silver Metallic are the two color options that are on offer. Allow us to reiterate, the Suzuki Dzire 1.2 GA is priced at just Php 549,000.
