Auto brands stage #MusicMonday online performances amid Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis
MANILA: Auto marques Ram, Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, and Alfa Romeo have collaborated to deliver comfort, encouragement, and entertainment through the #MusicMonday living room performance series to American citizens in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. They have launched these weekly half-hour live performances debuting on the Facebook Live Watch Party on April 13, at 7 p.m. ET (7 a.m., April 14 in the Philippines).
These sessions also involve a Q&A portion for the fans while the artists are in their living rooms. The #MusicMonday online performances will stream live for the whole month of April. Through the use of the hashtag #TogetherAtHome, the performances of the artists will serve as a way to demonstrate unity and support to fans who are at home.
In terms of talent acquisition, the auto brands mentioned hold a partnership with Interscope Records, which is noted for its talent diversity. The performing artists include the X Ambassadors (scheduled yesterday, April 13), Dermot Kennedy (scheduled on April 20), and Ari Lennox (scheduled on April 27).

The auto brands want to reach out and deliver comfort and entertainment through music as the whole world faces the COVID-19 pandemic. This is also their way of encouraging their community of followers, fans, and car owners to pledge to stay at home for the benefit of their health and the health of their families.
The artists will perform on a stripped backdrop on their living rooms to demonstrate unity amid the global pandemic. They will emphasize more on the significance of the performance and less on exquisite set production.
