MANILA: As the Philippines will have another holiday break this week, oil companies in the Philippines are set to conduct another round of big-time price hikes.

The movement in pricing will happen as early as 12:01 a.m. of April 9, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Cleanfuel, Petron, and Seaoil will jack up the pricing of gasoline by P1.10 per liter and diesel by P1.55 per liter.
Aside from that, Petron and Seaoil shall increase the pricing of kerosene by P1.40 per liter.
The changes, which other companies are expected to follow suit, shall take place as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (April 9) on some brands.
Tomorrow, the country will celebrate “Araw ng Kagitingan” (Day of Valor) and the next day, Eid al Fitr (End of Ramadan).
It can be recalled that during the course of the Holy Week, local oil players jacked up the pricing of gasoline by P2.20 per liter, diesel by P1.40 per liter, and kerosene by P1.30 per liter.
