The 2025 Volvo EX30 is the smallest crossover-SUV in the company’s portfolio. It looks muscular and beefy. Most of the signature elements from previous Volvo models have been retained, and the car is instantly recognizable. Volvo engineers have adopted a minimalist approach for the exterior design. Anything ornamental has been removed. The result is a simple and clear look on the outside sans any disturbing lines. The blunt-up grille gets a huge Volvo badge with the signature ‘Thor’s hammer’ headlights. The headlights have a menacing look at night. There’s no traditional grille on the 2025 Volvo EX30. But there are a few openings on the lower part of the bumper for extra cooling if needed. These are carved into the plastic black trim lines that surround the entire EX30’s body. It also lends the car a rugged appearance.

These includes recycled denim, interior sewn from flax, and wool alternative made from recycled polyester. There are a lot of hard plastics. The dashboard doesn’t get a digital instrument cluster and almost everything is controlled via the 12.3-inch vertically-mounted central touchscreen infotainment unit, connected to a multi-speaker audio system. Volvo has installed a soundbar across the base of the dashboard. The glovebox is now located in the dashboard’s centre, below the infotainment unit, making it easily accessible. The cupholders fold up when not in use to free up space. The central console gets several levels. The top-part is the armrest. The doors have no buttons or controls but gets storage spaces. The door handles are made from thin chrome.

With 4,233mm length, 1,837mm width, and 1,555mm height, the 2025 Volvo EX30 is a compact five-passenger crossover-SUV. The driving position is particularly high for a SUV but it’s still comfortable. Even with the front seats pushed the farthest back, the rear passengers get sufficient legroom.
