BMW 7-Series gets Fancy with BMW Display Key

MANILA: Talk to your key! And this is the super cool digital key fob which will be available with BMW 7 Series. This key fob is larger and therefore will take more space in your pocket but it is packed with sensors and 2.2 inch color touch display, where you just need to swipe upwards to unlock and have access to various other controls.

You can turn on the sidelights, parking lights, open or close windows, and schedule the climate control system so that it increases your convenience. BMW's world first Remote Control Parking feature which is basically an autonomous parking system allow to move the car forward or in reverse out of parking space while standing outside. Once the car is settled, it turns off automatically but you can even start and kill the engine with the Display Key.

But obviously, with all these features the BMW Display Key will consume much more battery than a regular key fob and, therefore, is powered by a lithium-ion battery which can either be charged using a Micro USB port or a Qi wireless charger. A Qi wireless charger will be there in the armrest storage area of BMW 7-series so you can easily charge it. Further, with a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels and such fascinating functions, this key will demand a reasonable share of your pocket.
