BMW 8 Series will be brought back to Life by Year 2020
MANILA: BMW, the German big, is bringing the 8-Series back to the life. The BMW 8-Series was initially found back in 1999 year and was among the most beloved sports car of the era. Recently, the BMW i3 Concept was also seen, which has been facilitated with Technology and automated smart house integration, at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016. With all the good things happening at this brand's end, there is one important endeavor pertaining to its action for bringing back BMW 8 Series back to life.
The company has also allured its fanatics by its new attributes/concepts introduced this year itself. Those technological implementations include BMW i8 Spyder Mirrorless concept and BMW Airtouch. It is doubtless to state that the company is trying to stay savy with the rapid changing dynamics of this industry. They have never ceased to surprise us with its out of the box and ahead of time technological implementations. With context to the Mirrorless concept, where the mirrors have been replaced with 3 camera's. This concept is believed to give a better vision to the driver in terms of traveling and during parking the vehicle. Additionally, the BMW Airtouch concept is a smart technology that can be used by both driver and the passengers. There is a suspected strategy behind its launch date, that is perceived to be a cover up of its recent diesel gate scandal. It is interesting to note that this technology has also been implemented in the 7 series too, and will be introduced in the other models too.
It is highly likely that the new series will own the success crown, as its sibling BMW 7 series has already made its place in the market. The pricing strategy is perceived to be somewhere near the lines of the Rolls Royce Ghost.
Coming back to the BMW 8 Series hunk, which is a premium segment model having a high price tag along with relatively high performance levels than the other studs. This series build its foundation in the year 1999. It is anticipated that the features in this new version will be somewhat inspired from the 7 Series. It is speculated to stand in tough competition with Porsche 928, Mercedes CL and Mercedes SL. We hope that this change will have an impact on the Philippines Automotive world too.
