BMW Philippines Showcases Record Sales in 2015
MANILA: The prosperity and success of any brand can be analysed on the basis of its sales volume and consumer base. In this context, BMW Philippines has excelled by recording sales of around 1000 units in the prior year. This achievement is being attributed to consistent performance and relentless efforts put in by the brand. We believe that new models launched by the German automaker last year will contribute to continuation of growth in sales statistics in 2016 as well. In conjunction with this, it very recently launched the 7 Series in the Philippines Automotive world. It had been released by the Asian Carmakers Corporation in the Bonifacio Global City situated in Taguig. It is anticipated to stand in neck to neck competition with the Audi A8 and Mercedes S Class.
Coming back to the facts and figures, as per the statistics report recorded back in July 2015 for global sales of premium cars, Mercedes Benz had sold 149,753 units, Audi sold 146,100 and BMW noted sales of 147, 513 units. The local business witnessed a sales growth of 38.5% i.e. year by year progress rate. Also, it is said to have exceeded the growth rate of the year 2014 by a whopping 11%. Mr. Maricar Parco (ACC President) mentioned in one of his statements that: “In 2016, the BMW brand will celebrate its centennial anniversary worldwide, and we would like to mark the milestone in the Philippines through the innovative product launches and participation in significant events that will set the tone for the next hundred years.”
We strongly believe that if this pattern of BMW car sales follows for the years to come ahead, the company will surely stand on the winning stature in the Philippines luxury car market. Also, there are chances of BMW 8 Series to come into existence, and surface soon. The potential opponents for this stud will be Porsche 928, Mercedes SL and CL. Not just this but concepts like BMW i3, BMW i8 Sypder Mirrorless and BMW Airtouch will also make the company boom with the shades of success and glory.
The BMW Sales Report (Philippines Market) is promising, and claims its victory by the presence of BMW 5 Series (Compact Executive Model), BMW 3 Series (Compact Sport Sedan) and BMW X3 (Sports activity version). It is interesting to note that, the BMW 5 Series had to compete with Audi A6, Jaguar XF and Mercedes E Class. In addition, the BMW 3 Series faced competition with Audi A4, Mercedes C Class and Audi 3. Lastly, the BMW X3 was in rivalry with Audi Q5, Volvo XC 60 and the Mercedes GLK.
