“We are deeply grateful for the support we have received all throughout this initiative, we also owe it to our customers — without their participation, this would not have been made possible,” said Bosch Philippines Managing Director Paulo Duarte.
“Even if we have surpassed our targets, we shall continue to pursue more, knowing that more children and families will benefit,” he added.
The campaign will continue to support the foundational skills development among public school students through various programs. These include the Functional Literacy Program (FLP), which aims to develop the reading and math skills of students; and the Batang Bayani Program (BBP), which encourages students to practice positive behavior toward learning at home.
In the first year of deployment, Bosch MA explained that the programs exceeded the overall targets of the campaign.
The program saw 154 percent (students) for FLP and 100 percent (students) for BBP. These results inspired Bosch MA to renew the support with a target to reach 850 students and 650 parents this 2024.
“Bosch MA enable our organization to positively impact the lives of hundreds of public school students across the country. We greatly appreciate Bosch MA’s continued partnership that supports much-needed programs focused on improving the academic and life outcomes of our students,” stated Teach for the Philippines Chief Executive Officer Mavie Almeda Ungco.
