Brace yourselves for a new Bugatti hypercar

MANILA: Bugatti is a big name in the world of hypercars, isn't it? The French automaker has built a legacy on the back its offerings like the Veyron, Chiron, and others. With the new year already here, Bugatti is also preparing to bring out a new heart throbber. Just a day ago, Bugatti teased its upcoming hypercar via an Instagram post where the car can be seen covered with a part of its front end exposed, albeit in the dark.

So, what it is then? The French carmaker is known for making not too many cars, and a handful of one-offs. With that said, the teaser photograph gives us a few hints. Sharp eyes could spot a bit of the EB110 in the image alongside a glimpse of the Centodieci-like slim & wraparound lights. Also, the new Bugatti in the teaser image looks to be quite bit sharper than the Chiron and seems to be donning a steep nose.

As we mentioned before, Bugatti is known for pulling off some unique one-offs, and the upcoming hypercar could just be another one of those. June 2019 witnessed the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, and that further strengthens the possibilities of another one-off hypercar by the French automaker. The EB110-inspired Centodiec already made its way out of the production facilities in the month of August 2019 at the Pebble Beach, and the final production model will come out in 2021 only. So, it is highly unlikely that Bugatti will tease the car again.

Another possible contender is a beefed-up Centodieci, a special Divo, or even a production model of the La Voiture Noire that was revealed last year. Moreover, since the La Voiture Noire was just a prototype at the time, the teased car here could indeed be a road-ready La Voiture Noire. With numerous rumours and speculation already out, it will be better for us to simply wait for the French automaker to reveal the hypercar sooner than later.
