Bugatti Centodieci is insanely expensive at $ 9 million
MANILA: While they might be expensive as hell, hypercars are still managing to create the hype and a market for themselves very successfully. The rich enthusiasts have welcomed the likes of the Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari La Ferrari, and the McLaren P1 with their arms wide open. So much so that even the million-dollar price tags of these hypercars have not proved to be an obstacle for them to find their homes. There have also been some multi-million-dollar hypercars that have done well in the market. Moving on from these million-dollar and multi-million-dollar hypercars, Bugatti, the French automaker owned by the Volkswagen group has brought out the Centodieci.
So, how much is Buggati is asking for the Centodieci? As you have already guessed from the title of the story, the Buggati Centodieci costs $9 million. When converted to Philippine Pesos, the amount that comes out is Php 466,008,450. Just imagine what all you can do with that sum of money. $9 million for a car is astonishingly ridiculous, isn't it? The spiritual successor of the EB 110 gets an 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine that produces 1,600 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 1,600 Nm. Moreover, the wheels get the power via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that works in conjunction with an all-wheel-drive system.
While Buggati hasn't revealed the top speed of the hypercar, the Centodieci is capable of doing a 0 to 100 kmph run in a matter of 2.4 seconds. The 0 to 200 kmph and 0 to 300 kmph runs, on the other hand, are done and dusted in 6.1 seconds and 13.1 seconds, respectively. The aesthetic bits on the Buggati Centodieci include a smaller than conventional Bugatti “Horseshoe" and retro-inspired slats at the front. There are also the five holes just behind the side windows which not only make the hypercar look cool but also let the air reach the engine.
Only 10 units of the Buggati Centodieci will be produced, and all of them will be completely hand-made. Got $ 9 million or Php 466,008,450 lying around? Give Buggati a call.
