Bulacan dealership gets 2nd straight win at Isuzu Service Skills Olympics

MANILA: Isuzu Bulacan was again hailed as the Grand Champion at the 19th Isuzu Service Skills Olympics (ISSO).

The latest ISSO— held last May 11 at the IPC headquarters in Laguna — saw 29 teams going through rigorous competition in different servicing categories. Each team consisted of a service advisor, parts staff, and two service technicians.
IPC President Tetsuya Fujita noted the after-sales service’s role in the company’s success. "Our unwavering commitment in providing exceptional after-sales support has been pivotal in maintaining IPC's leadership in the truck segment for 24 consecutive years," Fujita said.
"The expertise and dedication of our service technicians, advisors, and parts staff ensure that our customers receive unparalleled service, reinforcing their loyalty to our brand,” he added.
The individual winners for the latest ISSO under Parts Staff Category were:
- Champion: Vivencio Capricho (Isuzu Cagayan De Oro)
- First runner-up: Felipines Bangcaya (Isuzu Bulacan)
- Second runner-up: John Kenneth Basierto (Isuzu Makati).
IPC also honored the following for acing the Service Advisor Category:
- Champion: Rey Mark Lopez (Isuzu Butuan),
- First runner-up: Marius Adrian Pablo (Isuzu Cabanatuan)
- Second runner-up: Jerry Evangelista (Isuzu Calapan).
The champions for group Service Technician Category were as follows:
- Champions: Vicente Collantes Jr. and Jerome Garlan (Isuzu Bacoor),
- First runners-up: Raymundo Eduque III and Santos Ponce (Isuzu Bulacan)
- Second runners-up: Junjie Doncillo and Sanny Dagami (Isuzu Cebu).
After weighing all the category points, Isuzu Bulacan emerged as the grand victor, which, according to IPC, highlighted its “consistent commitment to upholding the highest standards of service excellence.”
IPC Assistant Vice President for Aftersales Hodaka Matsuda commended all participants.
"We extend our congratulations to Isuzu Bulacan for their outstanding achievement and commend all participants for their commitment to service excellence. This competition not only celebrates your achievements but also sets the benchmark for quality and excellence in the industry.”
