BYD PH expands reach with Cebu dealership opening

MANILA: BYD Philippines has opened its newest dealership, located in Cebu.

Sitting along A.S. Fortuna Street, BYD Cebu covers some 2,155 square meters (sq m). It has a showroom with a floor area of 354 sq m that can accommodate up to six BYD electric cars. The display also boasts the latest BYD Global Brand Identity standards, ensuring world-class services for every customer.

BYD Cebu has a dedicated service reception, customer lounge, and new car release bay. It also offers a service center with seven bays that can cater to the maintenance needs of its customers.

A parts and accessories section and two negotiation rooms add to a complete BYD customer experience for Cebuanos visiting the dealership.

BYD Cebu will also soon become an ACMobility charging location with AC and DC charging points for BYD and other electric vehicle (EV) owners to charge their EVs while in the city.

“BYD’s rapid expansion in the country provides more Filipinos with access to its technologically superior, efficient, and ultra-safe line-up of battery electric vehicles,” ACMobility Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala noted.

“As we take this innovative technology to more regions, it is the hardworking individuals in our dealerships who answer our customers' questions, attend to their needs, and, more importantly, support and reinforce the BYD EV ownership experience. We welcome Edward Vincent Onglatco and Global Star Motors Corporation to our fast-expanding network of BYD electric vehicle dealerships nationwide,” he added.

BYC Cebu is owned and operated by Global Star Motors Corporation.

BYD Cebu is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meanwhile, it operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Customers looking to have their BYD EVs serviced may visit the location from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon every Saturday.

BYD Philippines’ offerings consist of electric cars such as the Atto 3, Dolphin, Han, and the soon-to-come Tang.
