BYD’s Denza to enter PH market next year

Shenzhen, Guangdong: BYD is poised to bring its luxury sub-brand Denza to the Philippines, BYD General Manager for Sales Asia Pacific Division Liu Xieliang announced.

BYD has yet to announce its distributor in the Philippines.In a press conference, the regional executive shared that the badge is expected to be seen in the country “around this time next year.”
To recall, it was just last month that the aforementioned marque was rolled out in Singapore and earlier in the year in Cambodia.
Such a move would push more models under the new energy vehicle manufacturer, which is already the best-selling electric vehicle brand in the country to date.
While such is the case, the BYD Group has yet to formally announce who will serve as its luxury sub-brand’s distributing arm — saying that discussions about the plan are still being finalized.
Currently, ACMobility — through BYD Cars Philippines—is brand’s distributor in the country. It has brought in the Seal, Seagull, Sealion 6 DM-i, Dolphin, Atto 3, Han, and Tang and is further bolstering the marque’s presence with its commitment to establish a total of 25 dealerships by end of 2024.
To note, Denza was the product of the collaboration between BYD and Mercedes-Benz in 2010.
