Caltex offers exclusive fuel discounts for vaccinated motorists

MANILA: Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) is doing its part to encourage more Filipinos to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by offering fuel discounts on Caltex customers who have been inoculated.

The "Biyaheng Bakunado” promo offers P3 discount per liter of Platinum and Silver, and P2 discount per liter of diesel to all vaccinated motorists in all participating Caltex stations nationwide.

“To battle swirling myths, fake news, and apprehension about vaccines’ efficacy, Caltex wants to encourage more Filipinos to get inoculated to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19 by offering fuel discounts. The more people can get vaccinated, the faster the country moves toward normalcy and economic recovery,” CPI Country Chairman Billy Liu stated.

To avail the discount, motorists simply need to present their vaccination card and a valid ID, and log in their details on the discount record sheet of the Caltex station. Customers who currently have one dose may also qualify for the discount.

Liu added, “Safety has always been a value of Caltex and this initiative is one way of fleshing out what is important to the Caltex brand and its customers.”

Despite the pandemic, Caltex stations remain to provide quality fuel to Filipino motorists. For safer transactions, Caltex continues to provide contactless payment options. All stations are regularly sanitized and all service staff and employees undergo temperature checks.

The Biyaheng Bakunado promo runs until July 18, 2021.
