Caltex TikTok challenge encourages customers to unleash creativity and rapping skills
MANILA: Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI) has launched its #Caltexunstoppablestar TikTok rap challenge, which is intended to encourage musicians and fans to showcase their creativity while also reminding them that their dreams are unstoppable. The rap challenge, which runs on TikTok until March 31, honors the pleasure of driving and the freedom of travel.

Ten winners will be chosen during the raffle draw on March 8 and April 6. Prizes include P5,000 and P10,000 worth of Caltex Starcash, Techron Concentrate bottles, and a new Apple iPad 9th Generation.The 60-second rap song co-written and co-produced by SonaOne for Caltex was performed by musicians from three countries: the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia. The rap is separated into four 15-second parts, each getting faster and more challenging as it progresses. Participants can rap along and make their own unstoppable rap video using TikTok's AR effects to depict how they cannot be stopped from enjoying their adventure.

The official Caltex filter must be used on the video and the official hashtag #Caltexunstoppablestar must be included in the caption. Posts should be made public until the end of the promo period.

They will be reminded they can keep going, as fuel stops become one less thing holding them back.”
The #Caltexunstoppablestar rap challenge is made possible by Def Jam Southeast Asia and Universal Music Group for Brands.

With some of Southeast Asia’s biggest rappers including Malaysia’s Joe Flizzow, Thailand’s Daboyway, and Philippines’ Matthaios performing on the track, we’re excited to see how fans and users take the song to the next level through this partnership,” Universal Music Group Southeast Asia Chief Executive Officer Calvin Wong stated.
