Check out the brands on show at the 2019 Manila International Auto Show

MANILA: Auto shows are of special interests these days. The industry is evolving rapidly, and new vehicles equipped with the latest technologies presented at auto shows around the world manage to attract a high number of onlookers. In just about two weeks from now,

the 2019 Manila International Auto Show will be kicking off, and if your excitement is building up, we got information that will only give your adrenaline rush a boost. Read on to find out which brands will be present at the show from March 4 to 7 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

• The likes of Subaru, Suzuki, Jaguar/Land Rover, Mitsubishi, FOTON, Volkswagen, Kia, Nissan, Sea Oil, BPI, MG, Chevrolet, JAC, Petron, Ford, Motul, Jeep/RAM, Hyundai, GAZ, and GAC will be present in the Main Hall.
• Honda, Mazda, Toyota, Audi, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, and Volvo will remain absent this year.
• While the brands have been provided with a pavilion of maximum 600 square meters, Hyundai and Subaru have managed to grab 680 square meters and 632 square meters, respectively. Other brands with the large pavilions are Suzuki with 353 square meters and Ford and Nissan both at 493.75 square meters.

• JAC, Hyundai, Ural, Foton, Tata, Impenetra Armor, JMC, Pioneer Trucks, and Isuzu will make up the fleet of truck and bus brands at the event. However, unlike the previous event, this time around there will be no off-road experiential activity at the North Wing front lawn.
• Isuzu will boast another pavilion that will be facing the West Wing (Macapagal Avenue) near the MIAS main billboard.
• MIAS 2019 will be limited to World Trade Center’s four Main Halls and the two adjacent East Wing A and East Wing B tents due to the extensive renovation going on in the World Trade Center and the surrounding Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC). Aftermarket vendors and the Classic and Custom Car Competition will also feature here.
• Kia along with Jeep/RAM is set to unleash a new product, while speculations tell that the likes of Chevrolet, Hyundai, Nissan, and MG may also bring something fresh to the table at the event.
