Check out the exterior kit for Lexus UX by Tom’s

MANILA: We all are quite familiar with the fact that Lexus is nothing but the luxurious arm of Toyota. Speaking of Toyota’s arms, Lexus isn’t the only one as the Japanese automaker has spread its wings in almost every corner of the automobile space.

So much so that there are various racing and modifications units of the automaker which keep pouring out some crazy aesthetic and mechanical kits and upgrades for the regular Toyota and Lexus models. With that said, the elephant in the room today is the Lexus UX wearing an aesthetic kit by Tom’s, another factory-supported tuner of Toyota.

As mentioned earlier, the kit by Tom’s includes appearance updates only and the parts are available for the Lexus UX 200 and 250h models. Unlike the various TRD kits, this kit by Tom’s doesn’t even come with chassis braces or performance dampers. The kit comprises of a front spoiler, front bumper garnish, rear bumper garnish, rear under spoiler, and side skirts. Moreover, the appearance of the parts by Tom’s is rather subtle, unlike the flashy stuff offered by the likes of TRD.

The most interesting and tasty upgrade is the RC F and GS F like exhaust outlets at the rear. While the kit fits perfectly on the F-Sport model of the UX, it is yet to be known if the non-F-Sport model would be able to wear the aesthetic kit or not. Exclusive to Japan, Tom’s kit for the Lexus UX costs ¥ 189,000 (Php 90,000) unpainted and without the front and rear garnishes.

The body-matching painted kit will cost ¥ 219,000 and for the front and the rear garnish, the customer needs to pay ¥ 25,000 and ¥ 23,000, respectively.
