Citroën shows off comfort-level of its cars with a series of videos
MANILA: Comfort and Citroën are two words that go hand-in-hand easily as the French automaker offers some great cars with ample comfort and convenience. So much so that Citroën has hesitated in dishing out a series of videos showing the comfort-level that its cars offer. Moreover, the five videos which are part of the series also depict the Citroën owners showing their affection towards the French automaker's cars and their high comfort quotients.
The secret behind Citroën cars boasting high comfort to the occupants is the presence of Progressive Hydraulic Cushion® suspension, superior acoustics, ambient interior mood lighting, advanced comfort seats, butter-smooth handling, and many other features. In recent, the French automaker also witnessed a growth of +2.4% in the UK car market.
Speaking of the advertisement videos, we see a family visiting a car wash in their Citroën and not stepping out of the car to wash it. Instead, the family uses the car wash equipment and washes the car sitting inside of it. All because the occupants did not want to leave the comfort zone provided by the Citroën car. In another video, a group of friends can be seen enjoying a campfire from the inside of their Citroën. We see the group using large sticks to collect the food roasted by the campfire.
Furthermore, there is another video that shows a real estate agent giving her clients a walkthrough of a residence while driving around the building in her Citroën instead of taking them inside it. "Advertisers have often been wary of venturing into this field [humor>, as they fear that humor will overpower the brand itself, and that in the end the spectator will laugh more than feel compelled to make a purchase. I think just the opposite. The most striking ads of my youth were precisely those that were daring, funny and therefore memorable. The five Citroën storylines immediately spoke to me. I liked the slight touch of silliness exhibited by these short stories. The comedy and the thin layer of absurdity are both there, and I am very proud of the finished product", said Éric Judor, the director of the advertisement videos.
