Datsun All set to Break in Philippines Auto Industry
MANILA: The Philippine automotive industry is on the rise and the benefit of the same is desired to be availed by the Japanese brand, Datsun. Yes, the news is that this Japanese marque is soon coming to Philippines, just in next 12 months. Datsun is a sibling of Nissan wherein it crowns the vehicle manufacturing expertise from the year 1931. Some prominent models of this brand are Datsun GO, Datsun on-DO, Datsun GO+, and Datsun mi-DO.
The President of Nissan Philippines, Toti Zara has confirmed this news and also stated that the construction of 14 Datsun dealership is now underway in the country, one in Sucat and 13 outside the Metro Manila. Two dealerships will rise in Bulacan, four in Cebu, and one each in Santa Rosa, Zamboanga, Butuan, General Santos, Iloilo, Dumaguete and Calamba.
With this, the President showed confidence that Datsun will easily capitalize on the growth of the Philippine motoring industry. The brand is expected to arrive in Philippines with five seater GO and seven seater GO+. It is currently doing well in many emerging markets as India, Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa where already approximately 100,000 units have already been sold.
