Datsun GO-Cross Concept Unveiled at TMS 2015
MANILA: Seeing the sight of headlamps of the recently released Datsun GO-Cross concept at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show gives us an impression that it is the possible expansion of Datsun GO and GO+. The concept seems to combine the spirit and sense of adventure where it would be easy to drive on daily routines as well as on holidays.
The concept crossover possesses a few of styling elements from Datsun GO+ MPV. Said to share the platform with GO+, the concept is still said to be a significant evolution over existing model. The large hexagonal grille with thick chrome bezel, sleek headlamps with separate round lighting underneath, a rugged bumper with black plastic extensions, roof rails and black plastic wheel fenders are some highlights of the concept.
Being a concept right now, the powertrain details of GO+ are not yet confirmed, although a 1.2-litre engine in pair with five-speed manual transmission can be expected. The brand is globally doing well in terms of sale and is a prominent sibling of well-known Nissan. Moreover, the recent release that the brand is soon making its way to Philippines gives us another reason to stay updated about Datsun.
